Job summary

Latitude Technolab s Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a QA Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in manual and automation testing in Ahmedabad, India. The role focuses on ensuring quality, reliability, and performance through comprehensive testing and automation.

You will design test cases, execute various testing levels, and develop automated scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, while performing API testing and working within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of QA experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management.
• Hands-on with automation tools (Selenium/Playwright/Cypress).
• Experience with API testing and Postman or similar tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD, Git and version control, and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and plans based on requirements.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke tests.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA/Trello.
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Execute automated and manual test suites and analyze results.
• Conduct API testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and project teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to QA processes.

Job Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled QA Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test automation, API testing, and defect management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through comprehensive testing and automation practices.

Role + Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke Testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
• Execute automated and manual test suites and analyze test results.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain and update automation frameworks, test scripts, and testing documentation.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating and executing automated tests where required.

Person Specification and Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
• Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Hands-on experience in Functional and Regression Testing.
• Strong experience in preparing Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Data, and Test Reports.
• Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Basic to good understanding of API Testing and tools such as Postman.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver / Playwright / Cypress.
• Experience with API automation testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Basic understanding of Docker and cloud environments.
• Experience working with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Knowledge of Performance Testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.
