Prath Technologies Private Limited is seeking a QA Engineer in India to ensure the quality and reliability of client applications. You will design and execute test cases, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

The role involves manual testing across functional, regression, and integration areas, plus API testing with Postman/REST Assured. Familiarity with automation tools and CI/CD practices is a plus, with 2–5 years of experience

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software testing.
• Experience in manual testing and test case design.
• Hands-on API testing experience.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Playwright/Selenium/Cypress).
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our client applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform manual (functional, regression, integration) testing
• Execute API testing using tools like Postman / REST Assured
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira
• Perform regression testing for new releases
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
• Prepare test reports and documentation

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Experience in manual testing and test case design
• Hands-on experience in API testing
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (Playwright / Selenium / Cypress)
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
