Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. in Bengaluru, Karnataka seeks an Automation Test Engineer to drive end-to-end validation of AEM sites, DAM, and DAM assets, paired with API testing of REST endpoints.

You will build and maintain automated tests, log defects in Jira, and ensure quality across staging to production environments. Proficiency in Playwright or Selenium, Postman or REST Assured, and familiarity with AEM workflows are essential for this role in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software automation testing experience with hands-on exposure to AEM-based websites.
• Experience automating tests and validating REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AEM author/publisher workflows and DAM.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility or performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• AEM Functional Testing: Perform end-to-end automation and manual validation on AEM authoring interfaces (Sites, DAM, Experience Fragments) and published web pages.
• API Testing: Create and execute automated API test cases to validate REST APIs, endpoints, and data payloads.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and re-test defects in Jira, collaborating closely with AEM frontend and backend developers toward resolution.
• Regression & Sanity: Maintain test suites, run regression checks, and support release validation across staging, author, and production environments.
• Pipeline Execution: Trigger and monitor automated test run within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2-4 years of software automation testing experience with hands-on exposure to AEM-based websites.
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver.
• API Testing: Practical experience testing REST APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API modules.
• AEM Validation: Practical experience with AEM author/publisher workflows and Digital Asset Management (DAM).
• Basic knowledge of accessibility testing or performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
