Job summary

Photon in Bengaluru is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with hands-on Playwright expertise to build robust automation frameworks, design comprehensive test suites, and drive quality across product releases. Youll collaborate with development and product teams, implement regression coverage, and mentor junior engineers.

Youll contribute to API testing, embrace CI/CD, leverage AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, and champion best practices such as the Page Object Model.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of QA automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience with Cucumber (BDD) and automation framework development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and test automation design patterns.
• Experience in REST API testing.
• Familiarity with Postman/SoapUI and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
• Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD practices.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities
