Job summary

Cerebra is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our Bangalore team. You will design and execute automated test scripts across UI, API, backend, and database layers, leveraging Python, Playwright, Pytest, and related tools.

You will perform cross-layer validation, API validation, and data verification using MS SQL, while maintaining automation frameworks and reporting defects to developers. Strong problem-solving and testing methodology knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform API validation and integration testing.

• Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

The candidate should have hands‑on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts and performing different types of testing across UI, API, backend, and database layers.
