Job description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Java and Selenium, along with a solid understanding of API, database, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with development teams to drive issue resolution.
• Improve test coverage through automation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Execute API, database, and performance testing activities.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, estimation, and test case reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and quality engineering best practices.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular status updates on testing activities.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with Rest Assured for API automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of API Testing, Database Testing, and Performance Testing.
• Experience with TestNG and/or BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Banking or FinTech domain.
• Exposure to modern test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
