Qualifications

• 5+ years of Automation Testing experience.
• Strong experience in test automation framework development, test planning, STP and STD.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium Automation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD implementations.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with PyTest or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum.
• Experience testing applications deployed on Cloud Platforms.
• Good understanding of SQL and basic database setup.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with QA engineers, software developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires strong automation expertise, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Analyze application logs, events, and system behavior to identify issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve product quality and release efficiency.
• Validate application performance and stability across different environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated tests are integrated into release processes.
• Track, manage, and report defects using Jira and other quality management tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong experience in test automation framework development, test planning, STP (Software Test Plan), and STD (Software Test Design).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium Automation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD implementations.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or C#.
• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with PyTest or similar automation testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience testing applications deployed on Cloud Platforms.
• Good understanding of SQL, database validation, and basic database setup activities.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent qualification.
