Job summary

Papigen is seeking a QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance to independently test complex business workflows and enterprise applications. The role emphasizes testing in procurement and/or banking/financial services domains, with strong Azure DevOps skills and a focus on end-to-end quality.

You will design and execute tests, log defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, ensuring delivery commitments are met and quality standards

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Software QA experience.
• Hands-on test automation using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Strong functional, integration, regression, smoke and end-to-end testing experience.
• Hands-on with Azure DevOps Boards and Test Plans.
• Experience in Procurement and/or banking/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation to identify test scenarios and requirement gaps.
• Design and execute functional, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and regression test cases.
• Log, track, retest, and manage defects using Azure DevOps Boards and Test Plans.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, executions, and defects.
• Investigate functional issues, analyze root causes, and support resolution.
• Identify and communicate risks, blockers, dependencies, and testing delays.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and QA teams.
• Support UAT, business-user validation, and workflow testing.
• Provide clear testing updates and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Work independently while maintaining testing quality and delivery commitments.

• Knowledge of SQL and APIs for validation and troubleshooting.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Strong analytical thinking, independent problem-solving, and risk escalation.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Professional certifications like ISTQB, CTFL - AT, CAST, etc.
