Overview

Job Title: Associate Software Quality Analyst
Location: Arjan Garh
Job Type: Full-time, On site
Note: IMMEDIATE JOINERS REQUIRED*

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standards of quality for services by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement testing strategies and ensure deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Conduct high-quality and timely code reviews and verify automation coverage aligns with the application code.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 1+ year focused on test automation.
• Proven experience with one or more automation tools in a team environment.
• Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong experience with full-stack applications (frontend, backend, databases).

Technical Skills

• Designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks (from scratch or extending existing ones).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, RestAssured, and/or Postman.
• Understanding of automation design patterns (Page Object Model, Page Factory).
• Strong understanding of web technologies (DOM, HTML, CSS, XPath).
• Databases: good understanding of concepts and SQL.
• Proficient in Java; experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Understanding of software development concepts (OOP).
• Experience with Bash or Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and types (unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, UI, API, performance, security).
• Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assess application code to ensure automation coverage aligns with testing scenarios and strategies.
• Develop automation code that aligns with coverage strategies.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and debugging skills with an understanding of the software development lifecycle to prioritize root causes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of articulating technical issues and progress to stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes.

Desirable Qualifications

• Prior development experience (even briefly).
• Experience with security testing, performance testing, and/or accessibility testing.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) for wide browser/device test coverage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration of automated tests (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Kibana).
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Mocha, Chai).
