Job summary

Coforge in Pune is hiring an API Test Automation Engineer to design and implement robust automated tests for REST APIs using Robot Framework and Python. You will validate API functionality, maintain test libraries, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 6–9 years of API testing and automation experience, strong debugging skills, and hands-on experience with REST, OAuth/JWT, and database testing.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in API Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP methods, status codes, and API authentication (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth).
• Experience in API automation framework development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of SQL/Database testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
