Job summary

Viraaj HR Solutions Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an API test automation engineer to design and implement scalable QA frameworks for REST/GraphQL endpoints. You will build robust automation suites and ensure API quality across projects.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with developers and DevOps, and contribute to API contract testing and performance validation using Postman, RestAssured, and Karate.

Qualifications

• Experience designing API test automation frameworks for RESTful and GraphQL services.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable API test suites across REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Strong CI/CD integration experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API test automation frameworks using Java/Python/JavaScript.
• Execute end-to-end API test suites across REST, GraphQL, and SOAP endpoints with assertions, validations, and status checks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to debug failures, triage defects, and improve test coverage and stability.
• Generate detailed test reports, dashboards, and metrics to track quality trends and release readiness.
• Contribute to API contract testing, schema validation, and performance validation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
