Job summary

Viraaj HR Solutions Private Limited is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable API test automation frameworks in a fast-growing tech services environment in India.

You will execute end-to-end API tests across REST/GraphQL/SOAP, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with developers, and deliver detailed quality metrics and reports to support release readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience building API test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency with Postman, RestAssured or equivalents.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and test strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API test automation frameworks using Java/Python/JavaScript.
• Execute end-to-end API test suites across REST, GraphQL, and SOAP endpoints with assertions, validations, and status checks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to debug failures, triage defects, and improve test coverage and stability.
• Generate detailed test reports, dashboards, and metrics to track quality trends and release readiness.
• Contribute to API contract testing, schema validation, and performance validation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
