We are looking for an experienced API Automation Testing Engineer with 3 to 12 years of experience in API testing, automation framework development, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in REST/SOAP API testing, automation tools, test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain API automation test frameworks.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end API testing.
• Validate RESTful and SOAP web services using automation tools.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Analyze API specifications, business requirements, and technical documentation.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in API Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Rest Assured, Karate Framework, SoapUI, or ReadyAPI.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, OAuth, JWT, and API security concepts.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Additional Responsibilities

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience working in DevOps environments.
• Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
