Job summary

Merkle India (DGS India - Pune) is seeking a QA Analyst to ensure delivery quality for data warehousing projects. You will validate data, write SQL-based tests, and participate in end-to-end project life cycles in a permanent on-site Pune role.

The candidate should have 3–6 years of QA experience with DWH/DB testing, strong SQL, ETL testing, and familiarity with Azure/AWS/GCP and JIRA/Agile methodologies. Shift is 12 PM–9 PM or 2 PM–11 PM IST.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in QA analytics with data warehousing and DB testing.
• Strong SQL skills and ETL testing experience.
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud concepts and JIRA/Agile.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Write test plans and test cases for DWH/DB tests.
• Develop test SQL scripts and validate data quality.
• Execute functional, regression, and UAT testing.
• Track defects using JIRA and report status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with development team and clients to ensure requirements are met.

Must have skills

Key responsibiltes

• 1.Write test plans, design test cases, develop test SQL scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results
• 2.Work on DWH / Database testing
• 3.Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• 4.Create large volumes of test data if required
• 5.Track and reports defect using appropriate tools such as JIRA
• 6.Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles
• 7.Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions, and process failures
• 8.Communicate test status to internal project team and clients(s)

Education Qulification

• 1. Bachelor's or Master Degree or equivalent Degree

Certification If Any

• 1. Any Basic level certification in AWS / AZURE / GCP
• 2. Snowflake Associate / Core Optional

Shift timing

12 PM to 9 PM and / or 2 PM to 11 PM - IST time zone
