Job summary

Merkle in Pune, India seeks a QA Analyst to ensure deliverables meet client requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The role acts as a gatekeeper between development and clients, requiring strong SQL/ETL testing and data warehousing knowledge.

Responsibilities include designing test plans, executing DWH tests, and coordinating defect tracking via JIRA, with teleport to UAT and data quality remediation. Shift times span IST windows; permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in DWH and Database Testing.
• SQL and ETL testing knowledge.
• Understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Proficiency with SQL language and Data Warehousing principles.
• Any ETL Tool knowledge.
• Experience on Cloud technologies AZURE preferred.
• Experience on JIRA and Agile.
• Good communication skills.

• Write test plans, design test SQL scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results.
• Work on DWH / Database testing.
• Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and UAT.
• Create large volumes of test data if required.
• Track and reports defect using appropriate tools such as JIRA.
• Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles.
• Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions, and process failures.
• Communicate test status to internal project team and clients(s).
