Abmiro, a fast growing SaaS ( Rekart & Postree ) company in Pune, is looking for smart and talented QA engineers to join our team and help deliver high quality software.

As a QA Engineer you will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests, design test plans, and collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of software quality assurance experience in web and mobile testing.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience writing clear, concise test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with white-box and black-box testing.
• Automation testing using Selenium is a plus.
• SQL, REST APIs and scripting knowledge.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development process.
• Performance or security testing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design docs to provide feedback.

About the Job

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

The QA Engineer plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets highest possible quality. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.

Role & Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of work experience in software quality assurance in different environments - web and mobile
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium is a plus
• Solid knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
