GSPANN Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer/Automation Lead to design and drive automation across UI, API, and database tests.

The role requires strong Python expertise and hands-on experience with Selenium and TestComplete, plus CI/CD integration in Azure DevOps/Jira environments. You will own end-to-end testing strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure robust test automation in a fast-paced Agile setting.

Senior QA Automation Engineer/ Automation Lead

Experience: 8-12 Years
Location: Hyderabad/Gurugram/Bangalore/Pune/Noida

Note: Looking for immediate to 30 days

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Python-based automation, Selenium/Test Complete, CI/CD, API testing, database validation, and modern source‑control practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong end‑to‑end testing experience across UI, API, database, and integration layers and be comfortable working within Azure DevOps/Jira‑driven Agile delivery environments.

Mandatory / Key Skills

• Programming: Good hands‑on experience in Python is mandatory.
• Test Automation: Hands‑on automation experience using Selenium and TestComplete, with preference for candidates having exposure to both.
• CI/CD: Practical experience integrating automated tests with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Project & Test Management: Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Jira; experience with Zephyr is preferred.
• Functional & Technical Testing: Hands‑on experience in:
• API Testing: Experience with Postman, SOAP UI and Rest Assured.
• Database: Good hands‑on SQL knowledge, preferably with SQL Server.
• Version Control: Strong experience with Git‑based repositories, including GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps Repos.
• Git / Engineering Practices: Good understanding of:
• API Testing
• Database Testing
• Integration Testing
• Regression Testing
• Smoke and Sanity Testing
• Black‑box and White‑box Testing
• GitFlow / branching strategies

• Experience with additional automation frameworks such as Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework, Cypress, or Nightwatch.

• Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, or Snowflake.
• Experience with Java or JavaScript in addition to Python.
