Kumaran Systems is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the migration of legacy Oracle Forms apps to modern Python/Django web applications. You will manage end-to-end planning, delivery, and stakeholder communication, coordinating cross-functional teams including analysts, architects, developers, QA and DevOps.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in project management, strong knowledge of SDLC, and experience with Oracle Forms/PL-SQL.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience in technical project management.
• Experience migrating Oracle Forms to Python/Django or similar modernization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to SDLC processes and quality metrics.

• Ensure parity, data integrity, testing and successful production deployment.
• Drive migration strategy, release planning, cutover and post-go-live support.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the migration of legacy Oracle Forms applications to modern Python/Django web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project planning, execution, delivery, and stakeholder communication.
• Exposure to Quality process & compliance metrics.
• Coordinate & oversee Python/Django development, API integration, and database-related activities.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Ensure functional parity, testing, data integrity, and successful production deployment.
• Drive migration strategy, release planning, cutover, and post-go-live support.

Required Skills:

• Fluent in communication & excellent articulation skills
• Strong experience in project management through appropriate tools & techniques.
• Knowledge of Python, Django, REST APIs, and modern web application architecture.
• Experience in legacy application modernization or migration projects
• Exposure to SDLC & relevant process
• Excellent stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge in Oracle Forms, Database & PL/SQL is an added advantage
• Exposure to AI tools like Co-pilot & Chat GPT

Preferred: Experience managing Oracle Forms to Python/Django migration or similar legacy application modernization projects Desirable.
