Job summary

Impronics Technologies in Gurugram is seeking a test automation engineer to design robust automation frameworks with Python and to automate functional, regression, and integration tests.

You will write SQL queries for data validation, collaborate with developers and QA, and ensure test plans and results are clearly documented. Experience with Selenium, PyTest, and Git is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks using Python.
• Automate functional, regression, and integration test cases.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and database functionality.
• Perform database schema verification and data migration testing using Python scripts.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain and update test scripts to align with new features and changes.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and concisely.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.

• Hands-on experience with SQL and database testing (writing complex queries,

verifying stored procedures, etc.).

• Experience with tools like Selenium, PyTest, or other automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

Testing Expertise:

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience with API testing (using tools like Postman or Python libraries such as

requests).

• Familiarity with performance testing tools is a plus (e.g., JMeter).

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
