Coforge Limited is seeking a skilled Python Test Automation Engineer with strong Robot Framework expertise to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions across Web, API, and backend applications.

The ideal candidate will have 4–10 years of hands-on experience in functional, API, and regression testing, and will contribute to improving test coverage and quality while integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.

• 4–10 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with strong Python skills.
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for Web/API/back-end applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration and Agile development practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Robot Framework to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in functional, API, and regression testing, with a focus on improving test coverage and quality across applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.


• Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks.


• Develop automated test cases for Web, API, and backend applications.


• Execute regression, functional, integration, and smoke test suites.


• Analyze test execution results and debug issues.


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.


• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.


• Prepare test reports and provide regular quality updates.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python Programming.


• Experience with Robot Framework automation.


• Knowledge of API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or Python libraries.


• Experience with Selenium WebDriver or web automation tools.


• Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.


• Experience with version control tools such as Git.


• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.


• Good debugging and analytical skills.
