Job summary

Lucro Plastecycle in Gujarat is seeking a qualified supervisor to oversee day-to-day pyrolysis plant operations, manage shift crews, and ensure safe, efficient production. You will monitor process parameters, coordinate with maintenance and EHS teams, and enforce SOPs to meet targets.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related technical field.
  • 36 years of relevant experience in pyrolysis, recycling, chemical, or process plant operations.
  • Good understanding of industrial equipment, process parameters, and safety practices.
  • Strong manpower handling and shift supervision skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
  • Good troubleshooting, communication, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily pyrolysis plant operations and shift activities.
  • Monitor reactor temperature, pressure, feed rate, heating system, condensation, and product collection.
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and process parameters are maintained.
  • Supervise operators, technicians, and contract workers during the shift.
  • Allocate manpower and ensure proper shift-wise work distribution.
  • Ensure operators follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor equipment performance and immediately report breakdowns or abnormalities.
  • Coordinate with the Production Engineer, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS teams.
  • Maintain shift-wise production, downtime, consumption, and operational records.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and transfer of pyrolysis oil, char, gas, and other outputs.
  • Conduct routine plant inspections and ensure housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Support preventive maintenance and equipment inspection activities.
  • Take immediate action during process deviations or emergency situations as per SOP.
  • Train and guide operators on safe and efficient plant operation.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with all EHS requirements.
