Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quality Leader for EV products in India. You will drive field issue resolution, coordinate with customer care, and lead cross-functional actions with design, manufacturing and supplier quality teams.

Expect field visits, data-driven analysis, and dashboard reporting to manage warranty trends. You will use knowledge of EV architectures, GD&T and problem-solving tools to ensure robust product development and effective team leadership across

Qualifications

• Awareness of IATF 16949, ISO 9000 & 14000 quality systems.
• Effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Resolve top field failures using a structured resolution process.
• Coordinate with Customer Care to close product quality concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing Quality and Supplier Quality on field issues.
• Compile and update lessons learned for new product development.
• Conduct Field/Dealer visits to identify early alarms and train dealers.
• Review and publish model dashboards highlighting quality risks and warranty trends.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• 1. Reduction in Warranty RPT (Repairs per 1000), Warranty CPU (Cost Per Unit), Unscheduled Visit & Walk home RPT by resolving the top field failure using structured resolution process.
• 2. Coordinate with Customer Care for resolving product quality concerns in field. Ensure Speedy & time bound closure of emerging concerns & immobilization concerns.
• 3. Collaborate & Drive improvement project with Design Team, Manufacturing Quality & Supplier quality for taking timely action for closure of field concerns.
• 4. Compilation and timely updation of lessons learnt from similar product families. Ensuring same are implemented for new product development as input for prevention of known issues.
• 5. Conducting Field / Dealer visit for identifying early alarms in field, gather customer feedback and ensuring training to dealer team for upskilling.
• 6. Review and timely publish model dashboard for management review and highlighting key quality risks and warranty trends.

B.E - Electrical and Electronics.

General Requirements

• Awareness on Quality system ( IATF 16949, ISO 9000 & 14000)
• Effective interpersonal communication & presentation skills
• Good in MS office .

Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job

• Thorough Knowledge of EV architecture -HV & LV System and sub system. Preferably 3-wheeler / 4-wheeler.
• In-depth understanding of Problem-solving approaches, tools and techniques like 8D, QC story, DOE. Etc.
• Understanding of warranty handling practices. Good understanding of EV diagnostics & failure modes.
• Good Data analytical skills
• Drawing reading and understanding of GD&T and 3D model
• Good understanding of Product development and verification process.
• Team Handling skills and Motivating & Engaging team members
• Effective interpersonal communication for daily collaboration
• Understanding of Electrical Part manufacturing process ( SMT, Box build , Wire harness, Wire winding etc)
