Job summary

Tetra Pak in India is seeking a Purchasing Associate with experience in Procurement or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes including PO creation, GR processing, and supplier queries, with working knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana, Ariba and Service Now.

You will execute replenishment activities, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with cross-border teams to ensure on-time, compliant purchasing and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience.
• Well versed in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 Hana.
• Working knowledge of Ariba is an advantage.
• Supplier management process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Execute replenishment activities per sourcing strategies.
• Create Purchase Orders from approved Requisitions per policy.
• Obtain order confirmations with suppliers for critical items.
• GRIR reconciliation for indirect purchases.
• Keep aged purchase orders tidy per guidelines.
• Resolve supplier invoice queries promptly.
• Comply with global supplier management processes.
• Update Supply Manager on purchasing issues.
• Escalate and report system issues to supplier management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor KPI dashboards and drive actions to meet targets.

What you will do

• Execute transactional, replenishment activities in line with sourcing strategies and Ensures process compliance.
• Create Purchase Orders basis approved Purchase Requisitions in agreement with the Purchasing Policy guidelines laid down by the Organization from time to time.
• Order Confirmation with Suppliers for Critical Items only.
• GRIR Reconciliation for the Indirect Purchases and ensure set targets are met.
• House Keeping of the Aged Purchase Orders as per the guidelines defined by the Organization.
• Resolve invoice queries in a timely manner emanating from the internal/external (CG) stake holders.
• Comply with global supplier management processes and stay updated on process development.
• Update Supply Manager and key stakeholders on operational purchasing issues and share best practices.
• Feedback system issues to the relevant supplier management responsible contact.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Communicate updates and new developments to relevant key stakeholders.
• Monitor operational dashboard KPIs/Metric: plan and drive actions to achieve targets.

We believe you have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Working knowledge of any foreign Asian language is an added advantage.
