Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an entry‑level procurement professional for our Pune office to support material requirements across manufacturing and project ops. You will issue purchase orders under supervision and assist with RFQs, supplier evaluation, and category management processes.

The role involves coordinating with multiple teams, expediting orders, and resolving GRIR issues while maintaining cost control and efficiency in the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or similar discipline required.
• SAP Purchase to Pay knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, issue purchase orders in response to material requirements from manufacturing, field operations, technology, or project management.
• Comply with and execute Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Expedite, de-expedite and issue change orders to meet manufacturing, field plant or project demands.
• Analyze and resolve basic Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt issues (GRIR) with assistance as needed.
• Assist in creating RFQs and organizing competitive bidding from suppliers to obtain best quality, delivery, and price.
• Assist in assessing supplier performance.
• Tasks impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
