Job summary

Hyt Engineering Company is hiring a Mechanical Purchase Officer to handle tooling and consumable procurement for railway and industrial projects.

The role covers strategic sourcing, vendor development, CAPEX procurement, technical evaluation, and ensuring timely delivery of machinery and mechanical components as per project requirements. Based in Bengaluru, you will coordinate across sites and work with multiple vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical procurement for railway and industrial projects.
• Strong sourcing and vendor development capabilities.
• CAPEX procurement and technical evaluation experience.

Responsibilities

• Procure tooling and consumables for CNC, VMC, PLC systems and workshop machinery.
• Manage end-to-end mechanical sourcing across multi-site projects in India.
• Ensure timely delivery of machinery, spares, and service materials.

Role & responsibilities

Mechanical Purchase Officer responsible for tooling & consumable procurement activities for railway, and industrial projects. The role includes strategic sourcing, vendor development, CAPEX procurement, technical evaluation, and ensuring timely delivery of machinery and mechanical components as per project requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Handle project related procurement of Tolling & Consumable items of CNC machines, VMC machines, PLC systems, SPM (Special Purpose Machines), workshop machinery, plant equipment, and CAPEX items & Consumables
• Manage end-to-end sourcing for mechanical requirements across multiple project sites (PAN India basis).
• Ensure timely availability of machinery, spares, consumables, and service-related materials.
