Job summary

Polystox seeks an experienced Purchase Manager Polymers to lead the procurement of Virgin Polymer Raw Materials (PP, PE, PVC) with strong vendor networks and negotiation skills. You will monitor market trends, manage supplier relations, and drive cost-effective, timely procurement across key regions.

Coordinate with Sales and Finance for demand planning, ensure proper documentation, and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Plastic Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology), or any other related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in procurement of polymer virgin raw materials (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of polymer grades, applications, and industry pricing benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of Virgin Polymer Raw Materials (PP, PE, PVC, and other similar polymers).
• Initiate, develop, and strengthen strategic relationships with suppliers, traders, and distributors across key regions.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply contracts effectively.
• Monitor domestic and global polymer market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks.
• Coordinate with sales and finance teams for demand planning and optimization.
• Ensure timely procurement while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation including POs, invoices, GRNs, and reconciliation.
• Manage vendor evaluation, performance tracking, and compliance documentation.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Purchase Manager Polymers with strong expertise in the procurement of Polymer Virgin Raw Materials. The ideal candidate must have direct industry exposure, established vendor networks, strong negotiation capabilities, and a deep understanding of polymer pricing trends and supply dynamics.
