Job summary

H R Creations in Gurugram, Haryana, seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations. You will align procurement strategies with business goals, monitor inventory, and coordinate with production to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.

You will oversee commercial operations, control procurement budgets, ensure timely POs and payments, and manage compliance and risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee vendor selection, evaluation, and relationship management to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to forecast demand and align procurement activities.
• Manage all commercial activities, including price evaluations, cost analysis, and budget controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
• Monitor and review contracts to ensure compliance with legal and financial guidelines.
• Implement processes to track and control procurement expenditures, reducing costs without compromising quality.
• Handle import/export operations (if applicable), including customs clearance and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and company standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with suppliers, contracts, and commercial operations.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and reviews.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing and commercial team.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
