Job summary

Krishna Group in Gurugram region seeks an experienced Sourcing Lead for automotive textile trims. You will manage end-to-end supplier development, RFQ, cost analysis and negotiations to secure quality, cost and timely delivery.

The role requires deep knowledge of textile materials, SAP, and cross-functional coordination with Design, Quality and Production teams to drive VAVE and supplier readiness.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end sourcing and supplier development of textile and soft-trim materials.
• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity and delivery.
• Lead new product development for automotive textile trims and coordinate with Design, Engineering, Quality and Production teams.
• Handle RFQ, cost analysis, negotiations, annual price finalization, RM indexation and cost reduction.
• Drive VAVE, localization and alternate sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure supplier readiness and timely material availability up to SOP and regular production.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct audits and resolve quality/capacity issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant automotive and textile standards/testing requirements, including GSM, colour fastness, abrasion and flammability.
• Work closely with Purchase, Quality, Engineering, Production and Program Management teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10-14 years of experience in Automotive Textile / Textile Industry / Automotive Interior Trim / Seat Fabric / Soft Trim Sourcing.
• Strong understanding of textile materials, fabric sourcing and automotive interior applications.
• Experience in supplier development, commercial negotiation and cost reduction.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
