Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations in Mohali. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products and materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing procurement budgets, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing across all departments.

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.

Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.

Analyze market trends to identify potential vendors and cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure timely procurement of materials and inventory management.

Monitor and enforce procurement policies and compliance with quality standards.

Coordinate with internal departments (production, finance, logistics, etc.) for material planning and delivery.

Evaluate vendor performance and maintain approved vendor list.

Prepare procurement reports and forecasts for senior management.

Manage purchase orders, invoices, and contracts efficiently.

Supervise and train procurement team members.

Able to coordinate with cross-functional teams / departments on pan India basis.

Able to efficiently Report to the management / CEO

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).

Proven experience (2+ years) in a purchasing/procurement role, preferably in service, manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Excellent communication and vendor management skills.

Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
