Medanta is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for their Gurgaon location, requiring at least 10 years of relevant experience in sourcing Medicines/FMCG/FMHG. The role involves managing contracts, ensuring quality, and overseeing the entire purchasing process across hospital and retail pharmacy lines. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and effective communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in purchase of Medicine/FMCG/FMHG for at least 10 years in Hospital/Retail/OPD pharmacy line of business.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing Medicines/FMCG/FMHG & develop this as additional category in our Hospital/Retail/OPD pharmacy line of services.
• Manage entire purchase process from planning to execution.
• Track all service orders, receipts, invoices, payments along with Finance.
• Liaise with business/store teams for product requirement & availability.
• Identify, negotiate, onboard brands relevant to specific region/store.
• Manage margin/profitability with respect to categories.
• New brand introduction on a time to time basis.
• Defining guideline on planogramming & ensuring adherence.
• Negotiate & manage monthly schemes & offers from brands.
• Budgeting & forecasting.
• Manage all documentation requirements as per compliance.
• Plan for department manpower requirement and utilize all team members efficiently.

Objective:

• Sourcing of Medicines/FMCG/FMHG category for our Hospital/ Retail/OPD pharmacy line of services across all hospitals of Medanta. Will largely be responsible to source these goods and set processes in accordance with existing supply chain system
• Manage all contracts, maintain excellent professional relationship with service providers, have absolute focus on quality & adhere to timelines

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing Medicines/ FMCG/FMHG & develop this as additional category in our Hospital/Retail/OPD pharmacy line of services across all hospitals of Medanta. Manage entire purchase process from planning to execution considering plan & budgets. Track all service orders, receipts, invoices, payments along with representative in Finance
• Liase with business/store teams for product requirement & availability
• Assortment planning: Identify, negotiate, onboard brands relevant to specific region/store
• Manage Margin/profitability with respect to categories
• Category refreshment: New brand introduction on a time to time basis
• Visual merchandising & Planogramming: Defining guideline on planogramming & ensuring adherence to the same
• Master Data management
• Negotiate & manage monthly schemes & offers from brands on periodic basis
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Managing TOTs (Terms of Trade) / agreements & record keeping
• Manage all documentation requirements as per compliance requirements
• Plan for department manpower requirement and utilize all team members efficiently
