Job summary

Recex Pvt Ltd. in Rajkot invites an experienced Purchase Manager to identify and develop reliable casting suppliers and machining facilities for our components in and around Rajkot.

You will source foundries, evaluate vendors, study drawings, negotiate prices and terms, and supervise first-article inspections to ensure quality and on-time deliveries. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7–8 years of casting industry experience, possesses deep knowledge of casting

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 7–8 years of experience in a casting company or foundry.
• Good knowledge of casting processes, defects and machining operations.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong network of foundries and machine shops in Rajkot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate and evaluate machining vendors in Rajkot and nearby industrial areas
• Visit supplier sites to assess capability, capacity, quality systems and pricing
• Study drawings and technical specifications and discuss them with vendors
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules and payment terms
• Coordinate sample development, first-article inspection and approval
• Follow up on orders to ensure on-time, quality deliveries
