Job Description

• Ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) from casting suppliers.
• Review and coordinate with suppliers on rejections and rework, ensuring timely closure.
• Coordinate vehicle arrangements for dispatches from suppliers.
• Monitor pending supplier schedules, review progress, and obtain firm delivery commitments.
• Track and physically verify pattern status with suppliers.
• Coordinate and monitor the status of development castings with suppliers.

Skills Required

• Purchase Engineer – Castings, with the place of posting at Vadodara, and the candidate should be willing to travel across Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, and other locations in Gujarat.
• Strong knowledge of casting components procurement (CI, SG Iron, alloy castings, etc.).
• Experience in supplier coordination, follow-ups, and vendor management.
• Good understanding of rejection analysis, rework handling, and quality coordination with suppliers.
• Ability to monitor supplier production schedules and ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Experience in pattern tracking, development castings, and supplier progress monitoring.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with suppliers and internal teams (Production, Quality, Logistics).
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, purchase processes, and documentation.
