Job summary

Salad Days is seeking a proactive Purchase Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement operations across our cloud kitchen and retail network. You will build strong vendor relationships, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure uninterrupted supply of high-quality materials to support rapid growth.

The role requires proven procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and a collaborative approach to work with kitchens, warehouses and farms to maintain supply chain integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement or purchase management.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MIS and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
• Identify vendor and supplier candidates and onboard reliable partners.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and payment terms to optimize costs.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and kitchen teams.
• Track market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Maintain procurement records, MIS reports and documentation.
• Resolve supplier-related quality, quantity or delivery issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field
• Proven experience in procurement or purchase management
• Prior experience in Cloud Kitchen or a QSR company is a plus
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS, and ERP systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
