Job summary

What’s Up Wellness in India is expanding its premium gummy supplement range and seeks a Purchase Manager to lead procurement, vendor management, and inventory planning while ensuring cost-effective sourcing and uninterrupted supply.

You will negotiate contracts, manage purchase orders and payments, oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance, monitor budgets, and mitigate supply risks in a fast-paced D2C environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Experience in BPC or Nutraceutical industries preferred.
• Experience with inventory control and demand forecasting.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan procurement and inventory control based on forecasts and business needs.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships; negotiate pricing and contracts.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain including warehousing and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
• Monitor procurement budgets; optimize sourcing costs for profitability.
• Manage purchase orders, inventory reconciliation, and vendor payments.

We are looking for a Purchase Manager to lead procurement, vendor management, and inventory planning while ensuring cost-effective sourcing, uninterrupted supply, and efficient supply chain operations.

• Manage procurement planning and inventory control based on sales forecasts, demand planning, and business requirements to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely procurement of quality materials.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring smooth procurement, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and vendor audit requirements while maintaining procurement best practices.
• Monitor procurement budgets, optimize sourcing costs, and implement strategies to improve profitability without compromising quality.
• Manage purchase orders, inventory reconciliation, vendor payments, and identify potential supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the BPC (Beauty, Personal Care) or Nutraceutical industry.
• Experience in inventory control.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards for wellness and personal care products.
• Ability to analyze market trends and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies.
• Good communication skills and the ability to travel for work.
