Cadchem Laboratories Limited in India is seeking a procurement professional to manage the purchase of pharmaceutical raw materials, solvents, chemicals, and packing materials, ensuring timely delivery and supplier compliance.

You will identify and develop API manufacturers, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, coordinate with QA/QC, planning, stores and accounts, and monitor market trends and supplier performance to support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and regulatory

Responsabilités

• Manage procurement of Pharmaceutical raw materials, solvents, chemicals, and packing materials as per production requirements.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with reliable API manufacturers and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials as per approved requirements.
• Follow up with vendors regarding order status, dispatch schedules, and pending deliveries.
• Coordinate with QA/QC departments for vendor approval, material specifications, COA, MSDS/SDS, and other required documents.
• Ensure purchases are made only from approved vendors as per company procedures.
• Monitor market trends, API price fluctuations, and new supplier developments.
• Coordinate with production, planning, stores, and accounts departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement reports.
• Resolve vendor-related issues concerning pricing, delivery delays, documentation, and material availability.
• Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining material quality and regulatory compliance.
