Job summary

Tacklers Engineering Pvt. Ltd., a specialist in EOT cranes and material handling equipment, is seeking a Sr.

Manager Purchase & Procurement to lead procurement operations, vendor development, and strategic sourcing for capital equipment. This role requires 10+ years of experience in purchase and procurement within heavy engineering sectors, strong vendor networks, and proven negotiation and BOM/technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Purchase & Procurement.
• Experience in EOT Crane / Heavy machinery / capital equipment preferred.
• Engineering degree or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement of raw materials, crane components and bought-out items.
• Develop and manage reliable vendors for steel, motors, gearboxes, electricals, bearings, brakes, ropes, wheels and other engineering components.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, quality and delivery with suppliers.
• Drive cost reduction, alternate vendor development and procurement efficiency.
• Ensure timely material availability as per production/project schedules.
• Monitor vendor performance, quality, delivery and commercial commitments.
• Optimize inventory and procurement lead times.
• Prepare procurement MIS and reports for the MD.
• Lead and develop the Purchase team.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement of raw materials, crane components and bought-out items.
• Develop and manage reliable vendors for steel, motors, gearboxes, electricals, bearings, brakes, ropes, wheels and other engineering components.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, quality and delivery with suppliers.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in Purchase & Procurement.
• Candidates from EOT Crane / Overhead Crane / Heavy Machinery / Heavy Engineering / Capital Equipment / Industrial Equipment industries preferred.
• Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of engineering components, BOMs and technical specifications.
• Experience in project-based / manufacturing procurement will be an advantage.
• Engineering degree/diploma preferred.
