Job summary

Boatload Minds Private Limited is seeking an experienced Vendor Developer to lead vendor identification, evaluation, and onboarding under senior guidance. You will coordinate quotations, samples, and documentation, and help maintain vendor databases while ensuring timely procurement of materials.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, strong communication and analytical skills, and a willingness to learn vendor management processes; freshers with interest may apply.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Vendor Development, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Freshers with strong interest may also apply.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing sector (Sheet Metal, Plastic & Rubber materials preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn vendor selection, evaluation, and management processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential vendors based on company requirements.
• Support the onboarding process of new vendors under senior guidance.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples, and basic documentation.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and records.
• Assist in monitoring vendor performance and escalation issues to senior team members.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Learn and support vendor negotiation, contract handling, and cost analysis activities.
