Job summary

GOEEN is seeking a strategic Purchase Head for International Import & Procurement to drive global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and efficient procurement operations. The role focuses on managing import documentation, customs clearance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure material availability and cost savings.

The candidate will lead the procurement team, analyze market trends, and align with production and logistics for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration or related field
• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Procurement preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage complete procurement and international import operations
• Source products and materials from international suppliers and manufacturers
• Handle import documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination
• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and overseas vendors
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, finance, and production departments
• Track shipment schedules and resolve import/export issues
• Ensure compliance with import regulations, GST, customs, and company policies
• Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and purchase planning data
• Lead and manage the purchase team effectively

The candidate will be responsible for handling global sourcing, import documentation, supplier negotiations, inventory planning, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and products.
