Job summary

Career Path HR Solution is seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Executive in Navi Mumbai to manage procurement for pharmaceutical operations. You will source materials, manage vendors, negotiate prices, process POs, and ensure timely material availability.

The role requires 2-6 years in pharmaceutical procurement, vendor management skills, and proficiency in MS Excel/ERP. Candidates with pharma experience and female candidates are preferred. Office-based role in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or related field.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical procurement/purchase.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of vendor management, negotiation, purchase orders, quotation comparison, and material follow-up.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical raw materials and/or packaging materials.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other requirements.
• Identify and develop vendors based on quality, pricing, delivery, and reliability.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and prepare comparative statements.
• Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples, documentation, and timely deliveries.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to delays, quality, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, QA/QC, Accounts, and other departments for material requirements.
• Ensure procurement from approved/qualified vendors and maintain required documentation.
• Follow up on pending POs and maintain purchase/delivery trackers.
• Support export orders by ensuring critical materials are available as per production and dispatch timelines.
• Maintain purchase data, vendor records, and MIS reports in ERP/Excel.
