JOB PROFILE

• To purchase engineering / routine items as instructed
• Development & management of Database & Documentation related to purchase & costing
• To manage payment schedule of vendors in coordination with accounts / project team
• Strong commercial negotiation & lead time negotiation skills
• Strong follow up skills required with suppliers & internal team
• Approach should be target oriented to finish a project on time
• To manage purchase activity as per the lead time and urgency of the project team
• Vendor development / management skill
• To introduce new vendors / suppliers
• Should be able to read technical specifications of the products and able to make technical & commercial comparison
• Liaising with Sterinox Projects, Accounts, Proposals, Site Team & with the Client
• Liaising & coordination with Vendor
• A basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical & electronic items
• Proficient in verbal & written English
• Proficient in Marathi, Hindi & Gujarati language speaking would be an added advantage
• If required, a candidate should be prepared to travel to Sterinox factory time to time
