Job summary

A leading engineering firm located in Mumbai is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in sterile processes and project coordination. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing specifications, preparing proposals, and liaising with clients. Knowledge of CIP/SIP systems and project documentation is essential. Candidates should be open to travel within India and abroad, and familiarity with P&ID and GA drawings is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical or production engineering.
• Familiarity with sterile processes and design requirements.
• Knowledge of project documentation (DQ, IQ, OQ).

Responsibilities

• Review User's Required Specifications (URS) and tenders.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients.

Monday To Saturday (Sunday weekly off)

JOB PROFILE

• Should be well versed with Sterile Vessels processes & design requirements
• Good Knowledge of CIP / SIP System processes & design
• Aware of design criteria for sterile liquid transfer & filtration processes
• Should be able to review User’s Required Specifications (URS) / Tenders
• Process design / development during proposal / quotation stage
• Project cost estimation
• Should be able to make Techno-Commercial offers / Proposals
• Must understand P&ID and GA drawings and assist Draughtsman / Design Engineer for the preparation of P&IDs / GA Drawings and Plant Layouts
• Should be well versed with electrical control panel design (Manual / Automatic – PLC & HMI / IPC & SCADA) & understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
• Should have an idea of equipments like
  • WFI Plant / Pure Steam Generation Plant
  • Sterile Process Vessels
  • Liquid Oral Plant / Ointment – Gel – Paste – Lotion – Cream manufacturing Plants
  • CIP / SIP System
• Client liaising & coordination on site
• Should be able to communicate and co-ordinate with vendors
• Should work on standardization of Offers and costing sheets
• To prepare project documentation like DQ, IQ, OQ
• To assist in preparation of drawings for initial submission during project execution stage
• To communicate with Sterinox project team for effective project execution
• Candidate should be prepared to travel within India and abroad
