Quality HR India Pvt. Ltd. in Vapi seeks a Purchase Engineer to manage sourcing, vendor evaluation, and order processing. You will review requisitions, analyze proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining ISO 9001 quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of procurement experience in engineering, with ERP/MRP exposure (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and a focus on cost optimization and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle, or Tally).
• Familiarity with commercial terms and INCOTERMS.
• Understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and vendor audit protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Sourcing & Requisition Review: Review purchase requisitions, engineering drawings, andtechnical datasheets to ensure complete specifications before floating RFQs (Request for Quotations).
• Vendor Management: Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplieraudits/inspections, and build a reliable vendor database.
• Commercial & Price Negotiation: Analyze technical and commercial proposals, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
• Order Processing: Convert purchase requisitions into formal purchase orders (POs) via ERP/Tally systems and track orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Quality & Compliance: Verify that purchased items comply with industry standards (such as ISO 9001, BIS, RoHS, or CE) and coordinate incoming quality inspection (GRN) with QA teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, R&D, production, project management, and finance teams to avoid production delays or stockouts.
• Cost Optimization: Drive value engineering / value analysis (VA/VE) and monitor purchase price variance (PPV).
