Johnson Controls India-Pune is seeking a Mechanical Procurement professional to manage sourcing of HVAC equipment including ATU, HE, fans and pumps. You will onboard and evaluate suppliers, perform cost analyses and lead commercial negotiations to achieve savings.
You will collaborate with the Procurement Manager, review technical specs, BOMs and P&IDs, and maintain robust procurement records using ERP systems and MS Office.
Manage sourcing and procurement of mechanical, manufactured, fabricated and specialized engineering commodities. Lead procurement of HVAC equipment including ATU, HE, Fans, SWC, filtration systems, pumps, valves, compressors. Supplier onboarding, evaluation, qualification and performance management. Conduct cost analysis, value engineering and commercial negotiations.
Work closely with the Procurement Manager and stakeholders to understand spend requirements, negotiate pricing and contracts, and deliver cost savings. Manage commercial and contractual interactions with suppliers and develop long-term supplier partnerships using market analysis and cost models. Utilize technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, Marine and Navy HVAC systems to support sourcing decisions.
