Ideal candidates have automotive/engineering purchasing exposure, strong vendor management, SAP and MS Office skills, and ability to coordinate with stakeholders. On-site role with CSR participation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Capex & IDM Purchase resource for BU Purchase function
• Preferably with automotive/engineering purchase background
• End-to-end CAPEX procurement experience is required

Responsibilities

• Bidder list & RFQ Process management. Timely processing of Scope of Work/Statement of Requirement (SOR) in line with Sourcing council guidelines and defined strategies
• Market analysis and knowledge about high cost various machinery & equipment used in automotive industry
• Proactive management of stakeholders for understanding and working on technical requirements
• Obtain all management approvals on time & issuing LOI to suppliers
• Strong project management skills will help to timely delivery of CAPEX items on site
• Adherence of vendor evaluation & rationalization process, managing stakeholders in process
• Monitoring vendor payment & retentions periodically, closure of open issues with stakeholders
• SAP Knowledge & Users interference required with strong analytical skill in MS Office
• Adhere to TCOC guidelines and established audit processes
• Participating in Plant level CSR/Team building exercise

Position Overview

Capex & Indirect Material (IDM) Purchase resource for BU Purchase function, preferably with Automotive / engineering purchase background.

This is an end-to-end CAPEX Procurement position involves tendering, negotiating, and contracting, adopting a comprehensive approach toward long term ownership & services for high value Machinery and Equipments.
