Job summary

Perleybrook Labs Inc in Kochi, India, seeks a proactive Purchase & Inventory Manager to oversee procurement, vendor coordination, stock control, and dispatch operations within our ERP ecosystem.

You will source vendors, obtain quotes, raise POs, manage GRNs in Zoho Books, monitor stock levels, coordinate shipments, and ensure accurate documentation for audits. Experience with IoT electronics manufacturing is a plus and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in electronics or IoT manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books/Inventory or other ERP systems.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Procurement activities: vendor sourcing, quotations, price negotiations, and PO creation.
• Track delivery timelines, follow up with vendors, and manage goods receipt and documentation.
• Create GRNs and maintain stock updates in Zoho Books/Inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and support ERP-based inventory controls.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules, collect shipping details, and liaise with couriers.
• Track shipments, resolve logistics issues, and manage payments and reconciliations.
• Prepare delivery challans and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase & Inventory Manager to oversee procurement, vendor coordination, stock management, and dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth material flow, accurate inventory tracking, and efficient documentation within our ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities including vendor sourcing, collecting quotations, negotiating prices, and raising Purchase Orders (POs).
• Track delivery timelines, follow up with vendors, and oversee goods receipt and documentation.
• Create Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and maintain accurate stock updates in Zoho Books/Inventory.
• Monitor stock levels, support product bundling, and ensure efficient inventory control through ERP-based processes.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules, collect shipping details, and liaise with courier partners for timely delivery.
• Track shipments, resolve logistics issues, and manage courier/vendor payments and reconciliation records.
• Prepare delivery challans and maintain organised digital and physical documentation for audits and reporting.
