Job summary

redBus in Bengaluru is seeking a senior PR & Reputation Lead to shape our narrative across digital, print and broadcast channels. You will develop strategic PR plans, calendars, and campaigns to raise visibility among consumers, partners, government bodies, and investors.

You will craft press materials, manage media relations, train spokespeople, monitor coverage, orchestrate events, and report impact of campaigns.

Job description

• Build & drive the overall PR & Reputation building charter of the organization.
• Develop & implement strategic PR plans that include digital & social media channels, print, broadcast channels, niche channels, to increase the visibility and understanding of the organization's vision amongst its various target audiences & stakeholders: Consumers, Potential employees, Bus Operator partners, Govt bodies in the roadways, transport & tourism space, Investor community, Key thought & opinion leaders in the industry etc
• Build & execute the yearly/monthly PR calendar, handle PR campaigns end to end, and do media seeding activities.
• Create press materials, including writing impactful media releases as well as create digital content for the social media pages of our organization, such as recurring articles, blogs, or tweets. Also develop promotional videos etc
• Work closely with various internal & external stakeholders, including the external PR agency
• Build connections with key digital, print, and broadcast journalists as well as thought leaders in the industry.
• Engage & build connections with key social media Influencers and opinion leaders from our space
• Lead & manage reputation building conversations on social media
• Manage and share content with users on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook etc.
• Routinely review and report on media coverage.
• Provide training to organization’s spokespersons on dealing with media.
• Be the initial point of contact for media enquiries.
• In "crisis" situations, be in charge of the PR response & the handling of the situation.
• Organize promotional events such as press conferences or multi-media productions about our organization.
• Measure impact and provide reports on each PR campaign
