GE Vernova is seeking a seasoned Lean leader to drive operational excellence and cultural transformation across APAC. You will coach executives, deploy lean frameworks, and ensure SQDC targets while guiding strategic improvement initiatives across multiple sites.

You will partner with senior leaders, lead change management, and champion a data-driven approach to sustain continuous improvement in a complex manufacturing landscape.

Coach, drive and lead lean behaviours, principles, and tools by partnering with Operating Leaders in business management roles (e.g. GM of Business Unit, or Executive Lead of a Function, Site Lean Leaders) in PT APAC. Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics. Works with the organizational leadership, develop, set the pace and support business transformational and continuous improvement strategy with sensitivity towards the organizational structure, commercial approach, culture, people and processes. Outline direction and deployment of the Lean framework to ensure consistent and rigorous application across the business in line with best practice. Responsible for the successful management and implementation of business improvement projects/initiatives across the different businesses and functions by providing guidance and building working relationships ensuring that Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics are adhered to. Success will be measured by measurable shifts in SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) performance and the maturity of the Lean culture.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Strategy and Development

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational and transactional performance
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities
• Facilitate and lead Kaizen events and problem-solving sessions to drive process improvements.
• Manage regional ‘Bowlers’ to track and ensure accountability and transparent communication of business metrics
• Drive the lean roadmap deployment across all sites and support functions
• Act as a senior change agent, coaching leadership teams to move from reactive firefighting to proactive, data-driven management

General and Task Management

• Develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholders
• Implement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvement in a Toyota Lean style
• Provide project management, analytical and research skills and expertise
• Provide expertise, professional advice and guidance to the business in business improvement, drawing from proven industry practice and methodologies
• Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming pipeline, and actions necessary to ensure success
• Define, develop and publish business improvement process documentation to reflect best practice
• Lead, define and develop continuous improvement activities designed to improve performance, such as the planning and running of lean events
• Attend various meetings and take care/follow up on actions
• Produce written reports and make presentations
• Undertake continuous training and development
• Contribute and support the operational rhythm
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
• Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization
• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
• DfX, support in NPI to ensure manufacturability, automation, standardization
• Support automation and robotization projects in manufacturing and logistics from Lean perspective
• Alignment of 3P with Automation & Robotics integrations
• Support make or buy evaluations
• Good practice evaluation and deployment
• New AI opportunities evaluation and deployment
• Intra functional VSM

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited university or college in Engineering, Business & related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing lean execution and at least 3 years of multi-sites/factories lean leadership capacity
