Job summary

AKINO Labs is seeking a Proposal Writer to articulate technical solutions for prospective clients in enterprise tech. You will transform complex information into compelling proposals that drive new business.

You will collaborate with sales and engineering, manage end-to-end processes, maintain content library, and ensure consistency with brand guidelines.

Experience with RFPs/RFIs, strong writing skills, and project management are essential; familiarity with APMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Proposal Writer in enterprise tech or IT services.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading with British English.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple proposals.

About the role

The Proposal Writer ensures AKINO Labs communicates its technical solutions and value proposition clearly to prospective clients. This role is central to the sales process, transforming complex information into compelling proposals that secure new business and support the company's growth objectives.

What you'll do

• Write, edit, and proofread proposals, requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and statements of work (SOWs).
• Collaborate with sales, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to gather information and define solution approaches.
• Translate complex technical concepts and business requirements into clear, concise, and persuasive language.
• Manage the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and submission requirements.
• Maintain and update a library of reusable proposal content, case studies, and company information.
• Ensure all proposals align with AKINO Labs' brand guidelines, messaging, and quality standards.
• Review and integrate feedback from internal stakeholders to refine proposal drafts.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Proposal Writer or similar role, preferably within the enterprise technology or IT services sector.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong command of British English grammar and style.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and articulate them clearly and concisely for a business audience.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all written materials.
• Proficiency in document creation and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Experience with AI, data analytics, cloud architecture, or software development concepts is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with proposal management methodologies or APMP certification is a strong advantage.
