Job summary

Aurigo is seeking a Proposal Writer to manage RFX response projects, analyze RFXs, and craft eloquent, persuasive responses for public and private sector prospects. The role requires coordinating with SMEs, tailoring content from our library, and ensuring compliance with RFX requirements and company policy.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years of proposal writing experience, with strong English communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, journalism, communications, English, or related fields.
• 4–6 years of proposal writing experience.
• 1+ years using a proposal management platform such as Loopio, Responsive, or Qvidian is preferred.
• 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in software.
• Experience writing proposal responses for SaaS-based solutions.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
• Experience working in an English-language environment.
• Able to manage multiple projects concurrently and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFX response projects end-to-end.
• Analyze RFXs and determine deliverables and schedules.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and ensure timely deliverables.
• Provide responses from content library tailored to client asks.
• Format responses per RFX requirements and company policy; obtain management approval.
• Submit proposal to prospects.

Job description

As a Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for managing RFX response projects, analyzing RFXs, and delivering eloquent, professional, persuasive responses for our public and private sector prospects.

The Proposal Writer’s responsibilities include being highly proficient in reviewing and understanding RFXs, determining deliverables and schedules, holding subject matter experts accountable for their deliverables, providing responses from our content library while tailoring it to the context of the Client’s ask, formatting the information according to RFX requirements and company policy, obtaining management approval, and sending the proposal to the appropriate prospects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Journalism, Communications, English, or related fields is required.
• 4-6 years of proposal writing experience.
• 4-6 years of experience working in an environment where business is conducted in the English language, including verbal and written communications.
• 1 or more years of experience using a proposal management platform such as Loopio, Responsive, or Qvidian is preferred.
• 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably while working in the software industry.
• Experience writing proposal responses for SaaS-based solutions.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
• Salesforce experience and working in customer relationship portals is a plus.
• Able to manage and complete multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently.
• Experience working on RFXs in the public sector is a plus.
• Able to work cross-functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in deadline-driven, high-pressure environments, sometimes outside of standard business hours when needed.
