Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions in Pune seeks a senior process engineer with 11–18 years of experience in water-treatment and chemical-process design to lead proposal development, calculations, and cross-functional collaboration. The role emphasizes delivering accurate, value-driven techno-commercial proposals aligned with client specs and industry standards.

The incumbent will coordinate with Process, Piping, Static, E&I, Structure, BDN, and Shop teams, optimize costs, and mentor 3–6 junior engineers,

Qualifications

• UF-RO sizing and equipment sizing experience is must.
• Experience in Zero Liquid Discharge and ETP recycling.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals for water-treatment projects, including mass/energy balances, equipment sizing, and vendor comparisons.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams and leading a small team (3–6 members).
• Strong communication and collaboration with Process, Piping, Static, E&I, Structure, and Shop teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform water balance, mass & energy balance, and equipment sizing.
• Prepare bought-out specs and request for quotations from vendors with techno-commercial comparisons.
• Prepare technical proposals, fill RFQ/RFP, attend customer meetings to understand requirements.
• Prepare equipment and instrument lists, electrical load lists.
• Perform cost estimation and vendor coordination for project bids.
• Guide team members and review documents produced by them.

Description

To create and manage technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards. The role involves Process team, drafting team, Static Team, Purchase team, Project Team, Civil & close collaboration with engineering and sales teams to deliver competitive, Structural team, commissioing team, Installation team, E&I team accurate, and timely proposals. It supports business growth by translating complex requirements into clear, value-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• 1. Perform Water Balance, Mass & Energy Balance, equipment sizing, Heat transfer area calculation, Perform process & Design calculations & other Basic Engineering activities, Preparation of Pump data sheet, Equipment datasheet other Bought out items Datasheets.Prepare P & IDs & PFD.
• 2. Prepare the boughtout specs and send enquiry to various vendor, follow up with vendor and do the techno commercial comparison.
• 3. Technical Proposal preparation, Filling RFQ/RFP, attend customer meeting and to understand the requirement.
• 4. Prepare equipment list, Instrument list, Electrical load list.
• 5. Perform cost estimation.
• 6. Co-ordination with customers, Vendor, Internal stack holder like Process, Piping, Static, E&I, Structure, BDN, Shop etc
• 7. Develop the Scheme for Process block, occupancy of Equipment Sizing to suggest the proposaed scheme
• 8. Cost optimization
• 9. Guide the team members & review the documents prepared by them

Requirements

• Education: Diploma, B.Tech., BE, M. Tech Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 11-18 years
• 1. Knowledge of process engineering, hydaulic calcultions, Mass balance,
• 1. Good Communication skill

• Knowledge of MVR & thermal design 3. Agility, Responsibility and Intergrity

• 2. Knowledge of hydraulic calculation, design of heat exchangers, sizing of vessels,

2. Along Zero Liquid Discharge and ETP recycle mandate (to get both are difficult so candidate has experience in either one will work) Working in Industrial waste water
3. Develop technical and commercial proposals for water-treatment projects (he will do the commercial proposals). His Work includes water/mass/energy balances, equipment sizing, heat-transfer calculations, PFD/PID, vendor enquiries/comparisons, cost estimation, customer meetings and team review.
